Great snack for anyone really

I'm on the Atkins diet, for the second time now. I tried it first about 10 years ago, and then there were only a few of the bars, one being the dreaded chocolate peanut butter bar that i absolutely loathe. I signed up for a free Atkins starter kit, and a few of the bars came in the kit, and I was pleasantly surprised at the improvements to them. This bar was included, and it was my deciding factor. It's definitely one of the better bars, but most of the daybreak bars are tasty. This one doesn't have that proteiny taste like some of the others do, but it still has 10g of protein, so it really helps curb my appetite, and it satisfies my craving for something sweet at the same time. 10g protein, 1g sugar, 3 net carbs. Tagged for all phases. While in the induction stage, I have consistently lost about a pound a day, and I usually eat 1 to 2 of these bars a day.
I also have two toddlers, and I let them eat the daybreak bars as snacks, instead of sugar filled snacks made by the baby food companies. They really like them, and I'm happy to give them snacks that don't leave them hyped up on sugar. Price wise, Amazon is hard to beat, especially if you subscribe. Best of the bunch...

This is my favorite Atkins bar of the bunch. Good levels of fiber and minimal 'net carbs' all while having a great taste. No chemical taste to this, taste is equivalent to carb loaded snacks. This will be my staple snack while on Atkins and I suggest you make it yours as well. I've tried most of the other flavors and this one seems the most appealing and gives you more a sensation of eating real food.

Doggone Good

I hate diets for one main reason only, I can't have chocolate. Nothing sweet and tasty is ever in the menu for me. But I found a way to get around that with this really good bar. Most bar's are so gross and never give me the sweet satisfaction that I'm craving. These are so yummy, with the least amount of calories, and packed full with calcium and other good things.
