Not As Good As I Was Expecting

I really like using the powder version of Benefiber, but it can get a bit messy when you have to pour powder into bottles of water to take them to work so I thought I would try these chewables. I was disappointed with my purchase and switched back to the powder petty much right away. Firstly, you are supposed to eat 3 of these tablets 3 times a day, which is a lot. These tablets are HUGE and are over 3/4" in diameter and about 1/4" high. They are over twice the size of a Tums and you have to chew a while to choke them down. And there is no way that I putting 3 of these in my mouth at the same time! You have to chew them one by one and then are left with a chalky, cakey feeling in your mouth that isn't really pleasant. Secondly, I did not like the taste of these at all. I think that the Tums Smoothies taste pretty good so I was expecting something more fruity and yummy than what I got. Thirdly, it says that you don't need to drink water with these, but I would not recommend that. It is a lot of fiber for your stomach to handle in one fell swoop and you could end up with stomach cramps or not feeling so hot if you don't drink a few cups of water with these tablets. These chewables will work in a pinch if you are traveling and are worried about your fiber intake, but I will stick with the powder as it adds no flavor and is a lot easier on my stomach!

Better than the powder

This is no muss, no fuss compared to having to stir the powder into your drink 3 times a day. The chewables are so yummy that it's no wonder they tell you to only have 9 a day. Also, you can easily throw these in your purse and use them on the go.

Taste great and don't stick inside your mouth like other brands

The only downside I can see is the cost might be more than the other brands like metamucil, or generic fiber pwoder
