Great Taste... but not a great source of fiber

The good news is that Benefiber tastes great - In fact, it tastes a bit like a piece of orange soda candy! It is very easy to take without water and leaves little after-taste. What more could you want? Unfortunately, Benefiber only supplies 3 grams of fiber per serving..which is three tablets. To put this in perspective a piece of whole wheat bread supplies about the same level of fiber.

To put it in perspective:

-Recommended dose 9 tablets (Which would still supply less than 50% of recommended daily needs)

-At 9 tablets per day each bottle would last for 11 days

- Daily cost ... about $1.00 per day -


One thing about most types of orange candy is that it is pretty cheap- Benefiber tastes like candy...but it is not cheap, and still falls far short of what we need in our daily diet.

item itself very good but, did not like the shipping option

These tablets taste very good and easy to carry in your handbag if you put them in a little container. I also keep the whole thing at the office in my drawer but,
delivery part, the way it is shipped does not let the carrier drop the item at your apt even if you sign a note saying you want it to be delivered.
I had to go to Fedex location to pick this up and defies the purpose of ordering it online. I will not order again because of that reason. Same goes for the powder version. I did complain to amazon and they said they have no control over how the item is shipped.

it is like candy

It is just as tasty as candy and it is sugar free. I don't take the recommended dosage of 3 tablets I just eat one occasionally (like after a no fiber meal). The benefit of these tablets is you can take fiber without water. each tablet is 10 calories, <3g carbohydrate, 1g of fiber.
