Good flavor. Somewhat high in sugar

The Blueberry Crisp is one of my favorite Clif Bar flavors. Another good flavor is the Black Cherry Almond. Nutrition is good. The only downside to these is the sugar content which is moderately high at over 20gms per bar (which caused me to deduct one rating star). Salt content is not really low, but okay.

Personally, I would rather trade a little flavor for less sugar. I would like to see them reduce the sugar to 12gms or less per bar. Otherwise, it's a nice healthy snack.

Great for long runs.

I really love Clif bars, because I find them easy to digest when I'm on a long run, but they fill me up much more than a gel, such as Gu. Some food items upset my stomach, but Clif bars are just the trick. On a 20 mile run, I will nibble on a Clif bar throughout, in addition to taking gels to keep my glucose levels up. When I get this small amount of solid food, it keeps me from getting hungry during a 3+ hour run.

Like I said, I can have a sensitive stomach while running, so items need to taste pretty good for me to be able to get and keep them down. I think the Blueberry Crisp is perfect. It's sweet enough that it's appetizing, but not overly-sweet, which would be unappetizing. Also, I think it has a great texture, too. There are just enough chunks and bits in it that it's interesting to bite into--no bite is just a homogenous mixture. Also, it's just the right about of crispy. These are yummy!

Delicious and healthy

I bought one of these at a grocery store to try it out and it was delicious. However, they can be expensive so try buying them on Amazon or at Walmart where the prices are more reasonable.
