Yummy
By froggy frogella
The best tasting green drink around. Boyfriend says that it tastes like a green apple jolly rancher. (don't know if that is good or bad) So simple to add those 14 extra greens to your daily intake with only 45 calories per scoop. Great to add to your morning juice or smoothie.

LOVE this stuff!
By K. Macpherson
I've been taking Garden Greens Essential Greens for the last two months... I started it based on the advice of one of those "acid/alkaline" books. According to this author, if you add some greens to your water, you can alkalinize your system more... and an alkaline system is a healthier system, apparently. I also do Bikram (hot) yoga to help detox and I have to drink an incredible amount of water each day because of that (about 4 liters)... so for two of those liters, I just mix in a scoop of the greens. (You can actually take it far less diluted, but I like mine to be mostly water.)
One thing I notice EVERY time I do that is an enormous amount of "oxygen" type energy... after the first liter, I just feel like my body has been infused with all of this fresh air. That's the only way I can explain it. (For those who know about greens and chlorophyll, this actually makes sense -- plant greens contain a high amount of chlorophyll, which is highly oxygen-producing.
Another huge benefit is that, despite my husband and my son getting sick a few times in the last couple of months (including one really bad and apparently very contagious virus), I have not even caught a sniffle or a cold! This drink is jam-packed with all kinds of good things (just check out the label!) If you don't eat 8 to 10 fruits and veggies every single day, take this! It's awesome and it actually tastes great (unlike most other "green" drinks I've tried.)

Don't know what to make of it
By Zvi M. Aranoff
I purchased it in my local pharmacy, as an impulse purchase. A $35 impulse purchase for some green water isn't cheap, but, heck, I figured I'll try it out. It can't be all that bad, and I wasn't feeling well and needed some boost. I thought maybe a greens mix would do me some good.
I had two cups of it today (Very Berry Flavor). It tastes good, but I don't know if it makes me feel any different.
At home, I studied the product more and came up with several question marks:
1) On the label it doesn't indicate much nutritional value, only 6g fiber and 6g sugars per 1 scoop. How can that be? As per the label, it's made up of a long laundry list of goodies! Doesn't it have any nutritional value other than that??
2) The company isn't making any claims about the product, only that it's a Super "ORAC" Greens drink. ORAC stands for "Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity", a method of measurement of antioxidant capacities of a given food. This method is NOT approved by the NIH. According to Wikipedia, "Correlation between the high antioxidant capacity of fruits and vegetables, and the positive impact of diets high in fruits and vegetables, is believed to play an important role in the free-radical theory of aging." Note the words "believed" and "theory".
So this is a "Super ORAC" drink. But what does that mean?? The manufacturer doesn't tell us. We don't have a clue.
3) It's also suspicious the manufacturer doesn't have a tel or email address, neither on the product nor the website. One would think they would be happy to explain themselves to the public. But all their website does is list their products.
So maybe this is a legit company, maybe it isn't. Maybe this is a beneficial drink, maybe it isn't. There's no way to know, and since the manufacturer isn't making any claims one way or the other, you can't even blame it for misleading you.
I will use this product after workouts, to see if I would get that "flow of oxygen" one of the 5-star reviewers described having thanks to this drink. I'm a tad doubtful, but heck, I need to SOMEHOW justify shelling 35 bucks.. If nothing else, I'll just consider it a non-fattening tasty drink to have at home.
***UPDATE: After having used it for over two weeks now, on a daily basis, I can report that I feel absolutely no difference. I still don't even know what the manufactures claim it's supposed to do. Since they're not claiming anything, they're at least not lying. This seems to me to be a mix of sugar and some green stuff. A waste of money, and not recommended. I therefore downgraded my rating to only * star. 1 star is for the flavor. Zero for everything else.
