I have chronic pain that is caused by fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis and chronic tendonitis. Having had ultrasound treatments at physical therapy I knew the relief that can come from an ultrasound treatment. It has been wonderful, especially since I have my husband trained now on how to use it most effectively. That is a key component of getting the pain relief from this device. My chiropractor gave the following advice for using the ultrasound at home: make sure you use plenty of the gel-use lots of it; 2:do not use it on bony areas(knuckles, kneecap, bony part of shoulder, etc) it works on soft tissue and 3:Use it regularly over time for the greatest relief. It isn't going to feel like the classic vibrator type massager that you buy at a store, but because of the high frequency it penetrates deeper than the drug store massagers.

Avoid this seller!!
I purchased this Ultra Sound device that they claim "normally" sells for $469.99. Upon receiving the product, I realized that is was barely worth the selling price of $129.99 that I paid. My physical therapist also told to me to return it as "it was a toy". They had a very nasty attitude and are charging me a 25% restocking fee and also $6.95 for shipping. Avoid this seller at all costs! That is my personal recommendation; you have been warned!!

Surprisingly effective
I was a skeptic when I first for this. The professional unit used by my PT was very effective but I had to give this a try between sessions. It makes a high pitch sound at the highest level but otherwise, I like it. It provided the temporary relief I needed.
