Apparently, Benfotiamine is widely used in Europe for glucose control. My wife's numbers are looking very good. Additional benefit: She sleeps better since taking the Benfotiamine. Life Extension is one of the best names in the industry, and Amazon had the best price.

Benfotiamine works great for HIV-related peripheral neuropathy

I purchased Mega Benfotiamine (250mg capsules) because I read that it helps to regrow damaged peripheral nerves. My peripheral neuropathy is HIV-related, not diabetic. Since I began taking 1 capsule daily 3.5 weeks ago my pain levels have dropped significantly. I've been taking 240mg OxyContin three times daily for the past 12 years due to the pain with 8mg Dilaudid an average of twice weekly for evening breakthrough pain. Since starting on Mega Benfotiamine I've reduced my OxyContin dosage 33% and I've only had to use Dilaudid once in 3.5 weeks. Great stuff and a great deal from Amazon.com. I plan to reorder as long as their price remains the lowest!

A Better Choice Than The Nerve Support Formula!
