Great Mood Smoother, Joint helper

Noting the difference that one capsule of Nordic Naturals EPA made in my teen's irritable demeanor, a relative proclaimed that, "this stuff should be mandatory for every kid from the age of ten on."

Several individuals in our family take NN EPA to help depressive or irritable mood. I take it daily for joint problems. It has been helpful in ameliorating the ADHD and OCD features of autism.

We've tried fish-oil combination products, and also DHA alone, but find we get more bang for the moody & arthritis-ridden buck, using EPA concentrate.

Our family has used Nordic Naturals EPA for over 10 yrs. In that period of time, we've also tried a few other brands to see if there's anything as good, but cheaper. That experiment has led to a "morgue" of fish oil products that didn't make the cut. In particular, I discovered that certain fish oil products that are solvent-processed actually exacerbate my arthritis -- the opposite effect of what I'm paying for.

I appreciate the fact that NN products are molecularly distilled & 3rd party lab-tested for purity & absence of heavy metals, PCBs. The lemon-flavored softgels are pleasant to take & do not seem to give the fishy burps we've experienced with other products.

Use to support a healthy pregnancy/baby

I began taking this supplement when I found out I was pregnant, on the advice in the Whole Pregnancy Handbook by Dr. Joel Evans, MD. (great book) In my experience, this supplement has helped me to keep an even keel during pregnancy emotionally (my husband has been deployed since the day we got pregnant) and is supposed to help the baby with brain and eye development. I ran out at one point and noticed that I was definitely more emotional and irritable, and that my sinuses were much more irritated than normal. As soon as I got a new bottle in, about 3 days later I noticed I was much more relaxed and my sinuses felt better. So, for me, it works. And they've flavored the oil with lemon, so there's no fishy taste after you take it (or if you burp).

I highly recommend this supplement. They purify it at the molecular level, so it contains no mercury or heavy metals.

Great flavor-

I can't usually tolerate fish oil products but this one leaves no after taste. It is great for people who suffer from reflux. If reflux does occur it has a pleasant lemon flavor and no fishy taste.
