Dr. recommended
By L. Ocean
Thorne vitamins were introduced to me in the 90's by my M.D. who was very interested in the effect of good nutrition on health. Her research led her to recommend Thorne vitamins as a superior vitamin supplement. I did no personal research but based my opinion of Thorne products on her research and that of my naturopath (also recommends Thorne) and Bastyr Natural Health in Seattle (also uses Thorne products). I have taken Thorne products since the 90's. I take the full dosage. I am in excellent health at age 62. I eat a nutritious diet as well. Vitamins are not a substitute for healthy eating, but an addition to a healthy diet. I believe Thorne products are far superior to drug-store vitamins based on the research of the medical professionals I have interacted with.

Thorne Meta-Fem Tablets
By Monika L. Hudson
I have found this product to be a perfect adjunct to a well-balanced diet. When tested, I appear to have the full compliment of vitamins for a woman over 40. I highly recommend daily consumption of this product.

How many capsules???
By Maria E. Fossler
I really wish Amazon would have posted on these products what the recommended dosage is. Would help in figuring out whether it's a good deal or not. The last vitamins I tried had a 6 pill dosage, which seemed like a lot, but they WORKED! And, I could take them on an empty stomach. This particular brand is 4-8 capsules recommended, and I nearly "lost it" when I arrived at the store! I didn't feel the energy boost that I felt from the other brand, and I prefer ones that I can take on an empty, or nearly empty stomach, as I'm sensitive to that kind of stuff (even on a full tummy!). So, I won't be buying these again.
