Swanson's 1 Gram Vitamin C is Inexpensive and Potent

Swansons makes a variety of vitamin products at a consistently low price and is a reputable company that guarantees its quality. I have taken Swansons vitamins for several years and I appreciate their variety and low prices.
This product is a very potent Vitamin C product with Rose Hips (an alternate form of vitamin C). 1,000 mg of Vitamin C is many times the RDA of Vitamin C. Fortunately, Vitamin C is water soluble and will not build up in your body like the fat soluble vitamins. Any excess Vitamin C will simply be excreted in the urine.
I use the 1 gram form of Vitamin C when I am sick or need healing, such as a wound or post-surgery. Vitamin C is a precursor of collagen, the body's building block protein. Having enough Vitamin C is crucial in healing situations.

It Is Wonderful!

I really love this Vitamin C with Rose Hips. I take it daily as a supplement. The price is great and the quality wonderful. In our house, when we feel a cold or flu bug coming on, we take this three times per day along with garlic oil capsules. It works like magic on our immune system - usually the bug is gone in three days!

Great Product

I'm a college student at a college that has been hit hard with the H1N1 virus. I happened to get the virus a couple weeks back. Took five of these a day while I had the flu and the only night my fever went above 101 was the night when I realized I had the flu. Every day succeeding my fever was reduced. Also took these with Silver Biotics. Of course, my recovery could be attributed to my before-flu immune strength, but considering the effects of Vitamin C as cataloged by Linus Pauling, I would have to at least anecdotally back up his findings. Also, Swanson appears to have the best price so far, although their spam is annoying.
